   It's exam season again and luckily we have a good stock of everything you could possibly need for the upcoming closing dates! The ever popular RGT and Rockschool grade books are excellent ways to keep on top of your skills and provide a structured way to improve your playing, as well as giving you the chance to earn an accredited qualification accepted at all academic institutions.   For the higher levels, the exams are also worth UCAS points, very handy if you are planning to go onto university to study any subject, not just for music related courses. You can go so far on your own, watching youtube and trying to copy your favourite tracks but eventually its a good idea to get some proper lessons and books to accompany them. I have my own teaching site for getting new pupils but still always suggest that they either work through the grade books for the instrument, or get a good book to start with to use as a source of information and inspiration in equal measure.  We have a good selection of beginners books here, so why not have a look and see...
